Basketball Recap: Caldera Drops Season-High Score on West Linn

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caldera). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the West Linn Lions 78-76.

Caldera's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for West Linn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

Caldera and West Linn should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Caldera (ranked 24th) will meet Ridgeview (ranked 109th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, West Linn will face off against South Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 39 places (4 vs. 43).
