Basketball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 47-37 to the North Pole Patriots. The Golden Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for North Pole, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, Bartlett won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chugiak at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Golden Bears will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.05 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Pole, they and Palmer will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Patriots will be up against the Moose's rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.61 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
