Soccer Game Preview: South vs. McPherson

The South Cougars will face off against the McPherson Bullpups on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

South's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Salina Central 12-0. The victory continues a trend for South in their matchups with Salina Central: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for McPherson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on El Dorado with a sharp 8-0 win on Tuesday.

The victory got South back to even at 2-2. As for McPherson, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Everything went South's way against McPherson when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as South made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bullpups turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
