North Buncombe put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Madison Patriots get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. While the Black Hawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Jacob Stowe was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bannen Winker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

North Buncombe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

North Buncombe's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Madison, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Buncombe will square off against McDowell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison, they will take on Avery County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison is facing Avery County at the right time seeing as Avery County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
