Soccer Recap: Fort Bend Willowridge Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Willowridge lost against Brazosport back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles fell 3-1 to the Brazosport Exporters. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Rosy Lara, which was the first she's scored this season.

Fort Bend Willowridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Brazosport, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Coming up, Fort Bend Willowridge will host Stafford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brazosport, they are taking a road trip to face off against Almeta Crawford at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Almeta Crawford has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight defeats, while Brazosport will come in with four straight wins.
