Softball Recap: Chatfield Chargers vs. Ralston Valley Mustangs        
        
		
             Chatfield came tearing into  Wednesday's  contest with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ralston Valley Mustangs , sneaking past  9-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played  back in September.
  Kendall Davros was  incredible,  going 4-for-4 with three  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Ava Burgess, who  scored two  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Chatfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 16  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  hit at least nine  hits in nine consecutive  games.
 Chatfield's victory was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-6. As for Ralston Valley,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-16.
 Chatfield has already played their next matchup,  a  15-9  win against Bear Creek on the 12th. As for Ralston Valley, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  an  11-1  victory against Rocky Mountain on the 10th.
