Baseball Recap: Page County Comes Up Short

Page County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-2 to the East Rockingham Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Page County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Wright, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Page County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Page County Panthers challenge Stuarts Draft Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Rockingham, they will challenge Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
