Basketball Game Preview: White Station Spartans vs. Memphis Business Academy Execs

The White Station Spartans will take on the Memphis Business Academy Execs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are still undefeated after three games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

White Station proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 31) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Memphis East, sneaking past 55-52. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Mustangs on their court since January 18, 2020.

White Station's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyndall Reynolds, who went 7-for-13 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds. Those 21 points gave Reynolds a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Charity Relliford, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards.

Meanwhile, Memphis Business Academy had just enough and edged out Briarcrest Christian 50-48 on Tuesday.

Memphis Business Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for White Station, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.

White Station didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Memphis Business Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
