Volleyball Recap: Elbert County Takes a Loss

Elbert County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Providence Christian Academy Storm. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Storm when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Providence Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 27-7.

Elbert County has already played their next game (against Greene County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
