Softball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

If Bartlett was riding high fresh off their 17-1 takedown of Streamwood on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks fell 9-6 to the West Aurora Blackhawks on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blackhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-7 back in April.

Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for West Aurora, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bartlett is set to square off against their familiar foe Fenton at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Aurora will challenge rival Elgin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
