Basketball Recap: Excelsior Springs Takes a Loss

Excelsior Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 54-26 loss at the hands of the Lawson Cardinals. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Excelsior Springs' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lawson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Excelsior Springs is taking a road trip to square off against Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. Excelsior Springs is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lawson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Savannah at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
