Boys Ranch takes loss despite strong efforts from Jacobe Gonzales and Bulo Tyrie

Recap: Boys Ranch Roughriders vs. Vega Longhorns
The Boys Ranch Roughriders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Vega on the road and fell 70-30. Boys Ranch was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-13.
Bulo Tyrie and Jacobe Gonzales certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Tyrie scored nine points, while Gonzales scored five points.
Boys Ranch has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Vega, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boys Ranch will take on Bovina at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vega, they will head out on the road to take on Panhandle at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
