Football Recap: Marion Harding Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pleasant last Friday, Marion Harding came back down to earth. The Presidents took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galion Tigers on Friday. The Presidents have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Marion Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Galion, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion Harding will host Shelby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Presidents will need to watch out since the Whippets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Galion, they will welcome Clear Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Tigers 10.1, the Colts 14.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
