Basketball Recap: Dodge Vocational Takes a Loss

Dodge Vocational was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines 63-25. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while the Wolverines are ranked 125th).

Dodge Vocational's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bronx High School of Science, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Dodge Vocational Panthers challenge the Evander Childs Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bronx High School of Science, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hostos Lincoln Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
