R.A. Long dropped their record down to 7-6-1 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Hockinson Hawks by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Lumberjacks have suffered since March 21st.

Hockinson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Hockinson's part, Noah Tadema made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Tadema has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Tadema wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Fehrer, who went 1-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave Fehrer a new career-high.
