Wesson came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Franklin County Bulldogs as they made off with a 12-0 win. 12 seems to be a good number for the Cobras as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

BP Robbins was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Wallace, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Wesson hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive games.

Wesson pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.2 runs over those games. As for Franklin County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9.

Coming up, Wesson is taking a road trip to square off against North Pike at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Franklin County, they will welcome Loyd Star at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
