Baseball Game Preview: Miami Beach Hi-Tides vs. JC Bermudez Doral Thunder

The Miami Beach Hi-Tides will take on the JC Bermudez Doral Thunder at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Miami Beach 3.9, JC Bermudez Doral 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Carlos Landaeta was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Yeiber Vivas, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Miami Beach was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, JC Bermudez Doral entered their tilt with Miami Christian on Friday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Victors get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Ryan Llovet looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, David Padron and JC Leon did most of the damage at the plate: Padron scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Leon scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Padron also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Noslen Sanchez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

JC Bermudez Doral's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Miami Beach, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
