Volleyball Recap: Carver High School of Engineering & Science vs. Parkway Center City Bulldogs
Carver High School of Engineering & Science was the 3-0 winner over Parkway Center City when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Carver High School of Engineering & Science fell 3-1 to Parkway Center City on Thursday. Carver High School of Engineering & Science has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Parkway Center City scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 25-22.
Leading Parkway Center City to victory were Aubrey Henderson and Kimanii Santiago. Henderson had ten digs and five aces, while Santiago had 13 digs. Those ten digs gave Henderson a new career-high.
Carver High School of Engineering & Science now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Parkway Center City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3-1.
Looking ahead, Carver High School of Engineering & Science will welcome MAST Charter II at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkway Center City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
