Softball Recap: Burbank Titans vs. West Campus Warriors

Burbank had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-7 to make it nine. They came up short against the West Campus Warriors, falling 20-8. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

As for West Campus, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 12 runs or more this season.

For West Campus' part, Milana Hess and Julia Parr did most of the damage at the plate: Hess got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one triple, while Parr went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave Parr a new career-high. Derion Aaron was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burbank is set to challenge their familiar foe Armijo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Campus will take on rival Fairfield at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
