Basketball Recap: Dover Takes a Loss

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the New Philadelphia Quakers. The Crimson Tornadoes were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Quakers earlier this season, when they won 50-41.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for New Philadelphia, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dover will challenge Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Philadelphia, they will face off against Wooster at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
