Louisa County had lost eight straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-10 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Chancellor Chargers. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Chancellor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Chancellor's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Butler, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Louisa County will venture away from home to square off against Monticello at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chancellor, they will head out to challenge Varina at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
