 East Union has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  take on the Liberty Lions at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Tuesday,  it was close, but  East Union sidestepped Freedom for  a  3-2 victory. That's two games straight that East Union has won by  just one  run.
  Zach Grabowski looked comfortable as he  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Carson Sanders, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  JP Abrew, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Liberty narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Rodriguez  2-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Liberty.
  David Roberts spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits.  Cruz Van Slyke came in to relieve  Roberts and was airtight, giving up no runs, hits or walks in his two  innings pitched.
 On the hitting side, Liberty saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Stevie Wellens, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 East Union's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. Those good results, didn't necessarily come from the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as  they only averaged 3.8 runs per game. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
