Volleyball Recap: Sayville Beats Hampton Bays for Their Fifth Straight Win

Sayville had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hampton Bays Baymen. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Golden Flashes have posted since September 10th.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sayville got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 26-24, 24-26, 25-21, 18-25, 15-7.

Jill Livingston paced Sayville's offense, picking up 33 kills. Livingston got some help from Jenna Brown and her 43 assists. Lauren Sesso controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Sayville's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Hampton Bays, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

As of now, neither Sayville nor the Baymen have any future games scheduled.
