Porter Averianna gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in February on Tuesday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Averianna's strong effort led Tehachapi over West and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are limping into the matchup having lost nine straight at home dating back to last season. There's no doubt they're looking for a change of fortune, but will Averianna and the Warriors have enough to stop it?
