Volleyball Recap: Brevard Has No Trouble Against Asheville Christian Academy + How To Watch

Brevard not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Asheville Christian Academy Lions with a sharp 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Lions back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Brevard never let Asheville Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Worley, who had 13 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight contests.

They weren't the only good server: Brevard was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Asheville Christian Academy only served seven aces.

Asheville Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Caroline Simpson and Rachel Bass. Simpson had 23 assists and 12 digs, while Bass had 14 digs. Simpson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Brevard moved to 11-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Asheville Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 16-1.

Brevard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against North Henderson on the 23rd. As for Asheville Christian Academy, they will square off against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
