Recap: Bovina Mustangs vs. Silverton Owls
The Bovina Mustangs were the 56-41 winner over the Silverton Owls when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bovina took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Silverton. Bovina can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Bovina's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yandel Deleon, who scored 8 points. Michael Nieto was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Bovina's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Silverton, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Bovina will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Littlefield at 1:30 p.m. on November 30th. Littlefield will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Silverton, they will take on Kress at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kress comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
