Basketball Game Preview: Plainville Cardinals vs. Russell Broncos

The Plainville Cardinals will take on the Russell Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Plainville will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Trego, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Plainville came out on top against Trego by a score of 61-50 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Russell narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Ellis 51-48.

Plainville has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Russell, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
