Softball Recap: Tara Sets Scoring Season-High Against East Iberville

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tara). They blew past the East Iberville Tigers 30-15 on Tuesday. Considering the Trojans have won seven matches by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tylynn Fleming was a standout: she got on base in five of her six plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Heaven Beauchamp, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5.

Tara always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .574. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Tara's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for East Iberville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

As of now, neither Tara nor East Iberville have any future games scheduled.
