Volleyball Recap: Air Academy Wins Going Away Against Platte Valley

Air Academy not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Platte Valley Broncos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kadets.

Shelbe Lyons was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 19 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Air Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Air Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Platte Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Air Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mountain Vista on the 31st. As for Platte Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Woodland Park on the 31st.
