Buchholz had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Lake Howell Silverhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Buchholz was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

Buchholz found their leader in sophomore Julia Almond, who had 18 assists and seven digs. Almond is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Buchholz's win bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Lake Howell, their loss dropped their record down to 21-8.

Coming up, Buchholz will venture away from home to square off against Oviedo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Howell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
