Basketball Recap: Franklin Regional Takes a Loss

Franklin Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 64-53 to the Gateway Gators. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-32 back in December of 2024.

Franklin Regional's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Gateway, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Regional will welcome Plum at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Gateway, they will square off against Albert Gallatin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
