Baseball Recap: Campbell Comes Up Short

Campbell lost against Celeste on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 16-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for Celeste, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Campbell is set to face off against their familiar foe Wolfe City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Celeste will square off against rival North Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Devils 3.4, the Panthers 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
