Volleyball Game Preview: Berkeley Springs Indians vs. Moorefield Yellow Jackets

The Berkeley Springs Indians will face off against the Moorefield Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moorefield took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Berkeley Springs, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Berkeley Springs beat Paw Paw 3-1.

Berkeley Springs walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 19-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Cambria Andrews was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 16 digs and two aces.

Andrews wasn't the only good servers: Berkeley Springs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Moorefield came up short against Frankfort last Thursday and fell 3-1. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Moorefield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Berkeley Springs, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Berkeley Springs might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Moorefield when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
