San Marino hadn't done well against South Pasadena recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The San Marino Titans were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the South Pasadena Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

San Marino walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 28-26, 25-23.

San Marino can attribute much of their success to Ryan Lee, who had 14 digs and two aces. Lee has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times he's played.

San Marino's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-5. As for South Pasadena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

San Marino will host La Canada at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Pasadena, they are taking a road trip to challenge Blair at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
