League recap: Feisthamel breaks off league-leading run for Savage

Eastern 6-Man (6 Man) recap Sept. 26, 2012

Braden Feisthamel of Savage ran for the longest rushing play in Eastern 6-Man (6 Man) this season against Carter County last week. Feisthamel ran for 76 yards on the play and finished with 109 on the day as his team beat the Bulldogs.

Paxton Miller and Austin Jensen provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Carter County. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 56 yards.

Savage's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Miller threw for 56 and one touchdown and Jensen had 56 yards receiving. Jordan Skaley-Lange helped Savage's passing attack out by catching two balls for 49 yards.

Savage's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trent Prevost has thrown for 126 yards and one touchdown this season, while Tanner Hagler has seven catches for 79 yards. Feisthamel leads the league in rushing with 259 yards.

Hysham extended the longest winning streak in Eastern 6-Man (6 Man) this week by beating Garfield County, 35-26. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Pirates.
