The Classical Academy extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 11-2. Everything went their way against the Palmer Terrors as they made off with a 20-0 win. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Kelsey Peterson was her usual excellent self, throwing for 179 yards and three touchdowns. What's more, she racked up 22 rushing yards, the most she's had since back in September.

The Classical Academy didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Palmer to a completion percentage of just 25%. The team can thank Jerrica Thompson for the heroic effort on defense: she. The Classical Academy wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 46.2%.

The Classical Academy's defense didn't let Noa Harrison, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Whitney Meister, Reagan Harter, and Lauren Pantusa, who each picked up one sack apiece.

As for Palmer, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado flag football rankings (they are ranked 40th, while The Classical Academy is ranked seventh).

Despite the loss, Palmer saw an underclassman step up: freshman Harrison rushed for 101 yards on only 14 carries. Harrison's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked her fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Looking ahead, The Classical Academy will square off against Valor Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palmer, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Air Academy on the 8th.
