Basketball Recap: 16 Straight Home Victories for Newman AAA

Newman AAA had won 15 straight home games dating back to last season and Jalen Harper did his part to make it 16 on Saturday. The Newman AAA Cardinals claimed a resounding 111-67 victory over Non Varsity Opponent thanks to Harper, who went 9-for-12 en route to 24 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Reggie Grodin was another key player, going 6-for-7 to rack up 14 points and eight assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's played.

Newman AAA is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which somehow still isn't as good as their 23-7 record this season.

Coming up, Newman AAA won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Non Varsity Opponent on Sunday.
