Recap: Founders Classical Academy Centurions vs. Fernley Vaqueros
The Founders Classical Academy Centurions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Fernley, falling 75-42.
Aiden Roberts and Evan Bruning certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Roberts scored 16 points, while Bruning scored 14 points. Bruning scored a full 33.3% of Founders Classical Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Fernley found their leader in underclassman Sheldon Jacobson, who scored 17 points. Jacobson is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Anthony Winters was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 7 assists.
Founders Classical Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fernley, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
Founders Classical Academy is on the road again on Tuesday and play against GV Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Fernley, they will be playing at home against Sparks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
