Softball Recap: Ashdown Comes Up Short

Ashdown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Magnolia, falling 21-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Magnolia this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 last Friday.

Ashdown's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Magnolia, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ashdown Panthers face off against Horatio Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Magnolia, they will welcome De Queen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
