Flag Football Recap: North Skates Past Fairfax with Ease

North never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 32-0 win over the Fairfax Stampede. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won three games by 32 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Jizzelle Escoffery, who rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 103 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 92.3% of her passes. That's the most rushing yards she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Avyanna Buchanan, who gained 71 total yards and two touchdowns.

The victory keeps North at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.5 points this season. As for Fairfax, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

North has already played their next matchup, a 54-0 victory against Central on the 16th. As for Fairfax, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 51-0 defeat against Canyon View on the 23rd.
