Softball Recap: Clark Takes a Loss

The matchup between Clark and Phoenix Military on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles fell 12-9 to the Firebirds. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Firebirds recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Clark now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Phoenix Military, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-9-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Firebirds beat Clark by a score of 16-13 later that day.
