Coldwater posted their closest victory since October 23, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the St. Johns Redwings 2-1. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Redwings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Mya Porter paced Coldwater's offense, picking up seven kills. Porter got some help from Brooklyn Closson and her 19 assists. Porter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Coldwater and bumps their season record up to 6-4. As for St. Johns, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coldwater wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Hudson on the 3rd. As for St. Johns, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Williamston on the 4th.
