Evergreen Valley made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mt. Pleasant, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 12-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
