While Skyridge's win against Wasatch wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Skyridge sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over Wasatch on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Wasps recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Skyridge got a great performance from Mack Fowers as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. Fowers has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Andres Pearson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Cohen Plewe also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Skyridge's record is now 6-2. As for Wasatch, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Skyridge will square off against Springville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyridge is facing Springville at the right time seeing as Springville is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wasatch, they will take on Mountain View at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wasatch's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mountain View has averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
