Softball Recap: Glenbrook South Takes a Loss

Glenbrook South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Palatine Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 on Saturday.

Glenbrook South's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Palatine, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbrook South will take on Evanston at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palatine, they will be playing at home against Barrington at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Fillies/Broncos will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight.
