Volleyball Recap: Nelsonville-York Comes Up Short

Nelsonville-York came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Warren Warriors, falling 3-0. If the Buckeyes were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23, 25-23.

Nelsonville-York's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Warren, their victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nelsonville-York will head out to square off against Trimble at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Warren, they will square off against Alexander at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
