Cobre is a perfect 10-0 against Hatch Valley since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Indians will face off against the Bears at 11:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cobre easily dispatched Hatch Valley on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Indians fell just short of Da Vinci by a score of 9-7 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since February 28, 2024.

Adrian Alvarado put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Alvarado was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
In other batting news, Hunter Montes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Cameron Ortiz, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
Cobre hit Hatch Valley with a seven-run sixth inning , which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bears came up short against the Indians, falling 14-4. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Hatch Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was FRANKLIN WILLIAMS, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Cobre's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8. As for Hatch Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.
Everything went Cobre's way against Hatch Valley in their previous meeting on Wednesday, as Cobre made off with a 14-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
