Baseball Recap: Lathrop Comes Up Short

Lathrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to Northland Christian. The Mules were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northland Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Lathrop now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Northland Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lathrop will challenge South Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mules are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northland Christian, they will take on Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
