Soccer Game Preview: Petal vs. Brandon + Official Tickets

Petal hasn't had much luck against Brandon recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Petal's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Petal took on Northwest Rankin on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. The loss was Petal's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Brandon had to endure a three-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They beat Pearl by a goal, winning 1-0. BRAEDON LINDSAY had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Brandon.

Brandon now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Petal, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1-1.

Petal skirted past Brandon 2-1 when the teams last played back in January. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
