Wesson came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Amite County Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Monday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wesson took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6, 25-11.

Wesson's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Amite County, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Wesson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Crystal Springs on the 15th. As for Amite County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Wilkinson County on the 15th.
